In 2003, Mike and Jenny Bowden joined forces with Sarah and Neville Knights, pooling a combined total of over 100 years' experience to form Bowden & Knights.

Managing Director, Mike, spent 10 years with Unilever researching animal nutrition, before moving on to specialise in poultry management, including a 5-year stint with G.W.Padley – a 40-million bird operation.

One of the unique aspects of the Bowden & Knights service is that, although we still deal with such giants of the industry as Padley, we are also happy to help and advise much smaller-scale producers, including free-range start-up operations. This advice is not just freely given, it is also independent, and based on practical, hands-on experience, as well as on feedback from long-term customers.
